The Data Engineer will collaborate with data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, and the Data Governance COE to build and test interfaces between applications, data warehouses, and third-party systems in a combination of cloud and on-premise platforms. 

Using ETL tools, data virtualization tools, and API engines, the Data Engineer translates business requirements at the direction of Senior Data Engineers into data interfaces, data APIs, and data pipelines to supply the data needs of the enterprise, supporting application to application integration, the data flow in and out of the data management platform and other databases, and the data access layer supplying data to end consumers, including applications and tools.

SKILLS:

  • At least 1-2 years of Matillion ETL experience with Snowflake as a Target
  • Strong SQL with Stored Procedures
  • 1-2 years of Cloud Data platform Snowflake experience
  • ETL migration project experience is a plus

ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.
  • Familiarity and associated knowledge of generative AI techniques like RAG, few shot learning, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning that are used to operationalize enterprise AI use cases like interactive chat applications or text processing.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and common ML packages (such as LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch) as well as data engineering tools and technologies like dbt, Airflow, and Spark.
  • Strong presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether whiteboarding sessions or formal readouts and demos.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.

BONUS POINTS FOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

  • Working knowledge of tools in the LLM ecosystem such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and NeMo-Guard.
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc.)

We are a team of about 20 engineers and analysts responsible for various aspects of MaineHealth's Cyber Security, Identity and Access Management, and Risk Mitigation. The DevOps Specialist works with central IT to ensure proper security, code review and University development best practice is followed. The DevOps Specialist will have trusted access to production, development and testing environments. Job Description:

Manual Ethical Hacking is part of the Application Development Security Framework Program within Bank of America’s Cyber Security Assurance Offensive Security group. The program provides services to assess the vulnerability of the bank’s applications to malicious hacking activity.

This intermediate technical role is responsible for performing application security assessments of the bank's technologies, applications, and cyber security controls while adapting testing methods to evolving and emerging threats. The role

This is a hands-on role working with the latest technologies to help design, build, operate and maintain the in-house developed services the Cyber Security team provide to the business, as well as supporting the implementation of commercial tooling.
