Meet the team:

As a Digital Marketing Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for the analytics maintenance, insights, and reporting of our eCommerce website and ancillary digital channels. A successful candidate typically possesses a blend of technical skills, analytical prowess, and strategic thinking. Your insights will be critical in shaping our digital marketing experiences on the website and optimizing conversion rates across the checkout funnel through A/B testing and personalization.

Where you come in:

• You will analyze performance data from ecommerce platforms to understand customer behavior, sales trends, and digital content performance.
• You build and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) across disparate data sources, with a focus on ecommerce and website channel traffic metrics.
• You will identify opportunities for improving conversion rates across web and engagement channels and implement strategies to improve user experience and increase sales.
• You will craft, implement, and analyze A/B tests to optimize marketing strategies and tactics and personalize the site experience, particularly for ecommerce.
• You will provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales, new user acquisition, and ecommerce conversion rates (desktop and mobile).
• You will lead operations through Google Tag Manager (and collaboration with developers when needed) to ensure tracking and reporting of marketing activities are accurate and follow Dexcom consent guidelines.
• You will ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing platforms and tools.

What makes you successful:

• You bring a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing analytics or a related role, in-house or agency setting.
• You are proficient with analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• You have experience with testing and personalization solutions, like VWO, Google Optimize, or similar.
• You exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sophisticated data and provide actionable insights.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Executive Summary
The Integration Modernization initiative aims to enhance Ulta's capabilities by modernizing existing systems, optimizing processes, and enabling seamless communication across various platforms, focusing on a move to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As part of this effort, we will integrate a range of tools and technologies, including TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka, and additional integration platforms (TBD) over the next 12 months.
Scope of Work
The Cloud Security Engineer will work closely with the Integration Modernization team to design, implement, and monitor security measures across various integration tools. They will ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data as it flows between systems. The security engineer will also assist in defining policies and best practices for integrating TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka, and any future tools. This role will involve both strategic planning and tactical implementation.
Key responsibilities include:

1. Security Assessment and Risk Management:
   • Conduct security risk assessments for integration tools (TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka, etc.)
   • Identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in cloud-based architectures.
   • Ensure proper encryption and key management protocols are in place.
2. Architecture and Design:
   • Collaborate with solution architects to design secure integration architectures, ensuring proper authentication, authorization, and data protection across the platforms.
   • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and API lifecycle management.
3. Tool and Platform Security:
   • Ensure security configurations of TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka, and other integration tools are aligned with industry standards and organizational policies.
   • Manage security integrations with Ulta's identity management systems.
4. Monitoring and Incident Response:
   • Set up continuous monitoring for security events and anomalies across the integration platforms.
   • Respond to security incidents and provide remediation guidance in the event of breaches or vulnerabilities.
5. Compliance and Auditing:
   • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.) for the tools and services in use.
   • Conduct regular audits of security controls and recommend improvements as needed.
6. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
   • Maintain up-to-date security documentation for each platform transferring monitoring and incident response to the Security Operations Center.
   • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for the wider IT and security teams to ensure ongoing security practices are followed.

Their expertise will not only safeguard the organization's assets but will also promote efficiency by proactively addressing potential security gaps before they evolve into major issues.

Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
Technical Skills:

• Cloud Security Expertise: Experience securing cloud-based architectures, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Integration Platforms: Deep knowledge of integration tools such as TIBCO, APIGEE, and Kafka with a focus on security.
• API Security: Expertise in securing APIs using industry-standard protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, etc.).
• Network Security: Knowledge of securing microservices, messaging systems, and network communication in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Experience implementing IAM solutions for integration platforms, including SSO, RBAC, and MFA.
• DevSecOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automating security controls within development processes.

The Application Security Engineer ensures the security of applications powering streaming platforms, including web, mobile, and backend services. They collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into every stage of the SDLC. Their work includes evaluating architectures, conducting secure code reviews, and performing threat modeling.

Using tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing scripts, they identify vulnerabilities and assist developers in resolving them. They provide guidance on secure coding practices and help implement automated security checks within CI/CD pipelines. Their goal is to prevent security flaws before deployment.

In streaming environments, the engineer pays special attention to content security, DRM integration, anti-piracy measures, and API protection. They safeguard user data, prevent content leakage, and ensure secure session management. Their work directly supports the reliability and trustworthiness of the streaming platform.

The engineer also monitors applications for real-time threats, working closely with incident response teams to address exploits or unusual behavior. They conduct root-cause analysis after security events and contribute to permanent fixes and system hardening efforts.

Finally, they stay informed about emerging vulnerabilities, new attack vectors, and evolving streaming technologies. They participate in security research, propose improvements to system architecture, and help maintain a strong, scalable, and resilient security posture across all streaming products.

Title: Data Scientist - Causal Inference and Statistical Analysis

Location: Remote - EST time zone

DiD/PSM modeling, causal inference, AB testing, demand forecasting, and statistical background. Tech stack is Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement causal inference models such as DiD and PSM to assess the impact of various interventions and programs.
• Design and conduct A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, product changes, and other business initiatives.
• Perform rigorous statistical analysis to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of models through continuous evaluation and refinement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, causal inference, and statistical methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and applying causal inference models, including DiD and PSM.
• Strong background in designing and analyzing A/B tests.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation using tools such as Python, PySpark, SQL and Databricks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferred Experience:
• Previous experience in the retail or pharmacy industry.
• Familiarity with large datasets and data warehousing solutions.
